Meet ‘The Abduls’; sisters Thana and Sakhaa. Having fearlessly taken on the blogosphere with disarming ease and impeccable style (while still at university we might add), their Instagram account now boasts over a cool 74 thousand followers. In the run up to London Fashion Week, we hit the streets of trendy London (the city they call home) to find out what they’re wearing this season and what makes London so very special.

Tell us a little bit about how long you’ve been working and living together in London? Thana: We’re originally from Saudi Arabia. However, we have lived in London since we were kids.
Sakhaa: We started ‘The Abduls’ a couple of years ago and last year we launched our own brand Coded Nation which is super exciting!

Take us through a typical day during London Fashion Week for you both. Sakhaa: It’s super hectic!
Thana: We’re normally out and about from 7:30am jumping from show to show, presentation to various events going on till late at night. It’s a full on few days, but so exhilarating.

Which designer’s collections are you most excited to see? Both sisters in unison: Erdem!

What is your favourite thing about London Fashion Week and why? Sakhaa: I love how everyone who has even the slightest interest in it is involved somehow.
Thana: Yeah, you can walk in front any show venue and be photographed, no matter who you are. It feels so inclusive in that respect.

You obviously have a great relationship blogging together. What do you love most about your sister and why? Thana: I love how supportive Sakhaa is. She always gives me advice that is straight to the point and honest. I really admire her boldness.
Sakhaa: Thana is the kindest person you’ll ever meet. How can you not love someone who is so full of love? It’s impossible!

Who are your main style icons and why? Sakhaa: Lauren Hutton - she’s so cool. She’s got that laid back look on lock down; so effortless but with a high fashion twist. I love that.
Thana: I really don’t have any to be honest. I like to take style inspiration from everything around me.

What are on your Ounass wish lists at the moment? In unison: Everything by Gucci!

Where are your favourite hotspots in London right now? Thana: Soho House has always been one of our favourite hangouts.
Sakhaa: But, we go to NAC in Mayfair almost every day. The food is incredible!

How would you best describe each other’s style? Thana: Sakhaa is very unpredictable (she has pink hair at the moment!). She changes it up quite a bit but you’ll always see her referencing the 1990s in some way.
Sakhaa: Thana is a minimalist and likes to keep it very simple. She loves her basics but always gives them a super chic twist with some sort of statement piece.

Recall your fondest London Fashion Week memory. Thana: Our very first fashion show was Tom Ford. Bradley Cooper was sitting next to us and was dating Suki Waterhouse at the time.
Sakhaa: Plus, we got to meet our idol – British Vogue’s Sarah Harris!
