With vanilla absolute – one of the most natural ingredients to be used by master perfumers – acting as the star component, Amouage’s Material Eau de Parfum is an exercise in contrasts: both warm and invigorating, bold and soft. The top notes of elemi oil and patchouli oil eventually lead to a dark forest with a woody base made up of guaiac wood, osmanthus absolute, frankincense and tonka bean, blurring the line between masculine and feminine for a scent that’s as powerful as it is unique.
